Scars Run Deep was initially formed by Johnny (guitar), Steve (bass) and Davey (vocals)

After a brief hiatus from music following a long tenure in another band where they had all performed together on countless stages across the UK.

Initially song writing and recordings were done using electronic drum samples and programming.

Blending metal, punk and grunge influences into a sound of their own.

However this was not the ideal situation for a band getting ready to unleash new material in a live setting, so the search commenced for a drummer that was not only skilled but would fit in with the long formed bond of the three founding members. Enter Sav (drums) an extremely talented drummer with performances with many bands under his belt including (Graveside Confession, Usurper and Crowley UK). Sav walked into rehearsals and immediately clicked with what the band were aiming for.

Finally the band recruited Angus (Thesis Lives, Self Revolution) on guitar after his initial guest solo on the song Times Wasted and an opportunity to recreate it live Angus joined the band onstage for that song and never left.

Now the band is fully complete and have been gigging at every possible opportunity and are also constantly working on new material.
